Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh was born in Karachi, Pakistan. His father, Bashir Ahmed Shaikh, was a lawyer by profession and the Principal of the Islamia Law College. He also served as the Vice President of Sindh High Court Bar Association.
Mr. Shaikh did his MBA with a gold medal from the prestigious Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi in 1997. Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh is married to Ayesha Shoaib and has two daughters and a son. He believes his family and his mother, Miss Naseem Bashir to be his support system.
Shaikh excelled in everything he did, be it his business or his passion. Shaikh pursued his interests in swimming and chess; where he is the title holder for 1992 Sindh swimming championship (Breast Stroke) and 1996 IBA Chess Challenge.
Additionally he also takes interest in Architecture; where he has put considerable input to Axact and BOL’s headquarters and other grand projects.
Mr. Shaikh had an innate art of entrepreneurship. He was involved with different investment ideas and business concepts. From his earnings with lucrative business opportunities, he was able to modify the lifestyle of his family; shifting from a one room home to a posh area of DHA in Karachi before the inception of Axact.

In view of gauging global economic environment, Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh affirms that Pakistan is a country with huge economic potential to attract investment from all across the world, yet the kick-start calls to resolve energy crisis and political stability, which is vital to give a sense of secured investment.
He believes that the expression ‘soft image’ is frequently used by multiple people in Pakistan but without any factual understanding of what it really means or encompasses.
According to Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh, soft image never created merely to please others. Put simply, a soft image of a country reflects and generates national confidence and that national confidence comes from “standing on one own’s feet” and eliminating the phenomenon of terrorism and religious extremism. He further added that only an independent and confident nation commands the respect of other countries and in return build the soft image of their own country.
The founder of $20 billion company, Axact, further believes in organizing more IT related exhibitions and conference that will not limited to maximize the overall software exports of Pakistan but also become the reason of getting foreign investment in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, M-Commerce, E-Commerce, IT Parks and technology zones.

To fulfill his noble mission for an educated Pakistan, Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh working to establish the International Standard Schooling System throughout Pakistan.
The mega schooling system will consist of multiple English-medium education centers that will promote positive educational outcomes, gender equity and greater understanding. The mega project will also consist of spacious and clean boarding facility for both male and female, as well as multiple Olympic extent sports and recreational centers that will create future Olympians and bring pride to the nation.
Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh believes that education build the capacity of children to flourish in the corporate sector and escape from poverty that will ultimately rise the literacy rate of Pakistan.
